Editorial Standards

All content published on THINCK is subject to editorial review before publication. Our standards:

• Our news reporting is not knowingly false, misleading or deceptive, and we correct errors when we find them
• We seek to ground factual claims in public records, filings, official proceedings or credible reporting
• Headlines are written to reflect the piece beneath them
• Where a matter is contested or before a court, we aim to say so, and we do not treat an allegation as a finding

Alongside reporting, THINCK publishes columns of opinion, commentary and satire. These are works of comment — they use exaggeration, irony, humour and imagined dialogue, and they are not intended as literal statements of fact. Our Terms of Use identify these columns and explain how they should be read.

Prohibited Content

THINCK does not publish:

• Hate speech or content that promotes discrimination based on religion, ethnicity, gender, or other protected characteristics
• Graphic violence or disturbing imagery
• Adult or sexually explicit content
• Spam, scams, or fraudulent content
• Content that infringes intellectual property rights
• Misinformation presented as factual reporting
• Content that promotes or facilitates illegal activity

Clearly identified satire, comment and criticism on matters of public interest are a normal part of what we publish and are not within this list.

Ad Placement

• Advertisements are placed in contextually appropriate locations within content
• Ad placements comply with Google AdSense programme policies
• We do not use deceptive ad practices or disguise ads as editorial content
• Ad density is kept within industry standards and does not interfere with the reader experience

Data & Privacy

• We do not sell reader data
• Advertising on the Site is served by third parties, who may use cookies and device identifiers to select and measure it (see our Privacy Policy)
• Reader data is handled in line with our Privacy Policy, and consent is sought where applicable law requires it
• We do not interfere with ad serving, impression measurement, or click tracking conducted by our advertising partners

Content Controls

• We do not host user-generated content. The Site does not carry reader comments or public submissions, so no third-party content appears alongside advertising
• Everything published is written or commissioned by THINCK and reviewed editorially before it appears
• Content that does not meet our standards is corrected, amended or withdrawn
• Readers and advertisers can raise a concern through our Complaints page
